What We Provide

The equipment and know-how to time and score track & field meets or other running events with (1) minimal delays, (2) accurate results reporting, and (3) flexibility in forming heats or races. Running events should be contested at the pace to keep fans interested and athletes motivated, and where participants are confident that results are being developed accurately, fairly, and quickly

How We Are Different

Road races, track and field, and cross country are tedious and data intensive sports. Many events are delayed because the timers cannot respond quickly enough to changes in entries or because event photo results are not evaluated quickly before the next heat or event can begin or before medals can be awarded. We get the needed work done correctly and on time to keep the event running smoothly

Track & Field, we provide:

• FinishLynx digital cameras to provide fully automatic timing
• FinishLynx system to backup our primary system on inside or outside of finish line. Reverse direction timing is available.
• The computers, software, printer, and USATF-certified personnel to time and score your meet
• Integration of Gill Ultrasonic wind gauge with the FinishLynx system
• Finish line runner identification using IdentiLynx
• Real-time Internet posting
• Result viewing using your computer or handheld device at live.dakotatiming.com
• Upload results to Track and Field Results Reporting System, and other services

Cross Country & Road Races, we provide:

• IPICO chip timing with reusable shoe tags or disposable bib tags
• Integration of IPICO chip timing and FinishLynx with scoring software
• For college events: Upload results to Track and Field Results Reporting System or DirectAthletics
• Real-time Internet posting
• Data management including age-grouped results, customized categories, awards listings, and cross country scoring as needed
• Result viewing using your computer or handheld device at live.dakotatiming.com
